It was recently announced that Devil May Cry 4 will never see the light of day on Nintendo’s Wii. Speaking to Crispy Gamer, Devil May Cry 4’s lead producer Hiroyuki Kobayashi said: "You know, a lot of people ask us if we are going to bring out a Wii version. I simply don’t think you can make the game the type of game it is, with the awesome graphics and control -- I don’t think that would work on the Wii. So, I don’t think we’re going to bring one out, no."
I think this puts to rest any hopes Nintendo Wii owner’s had on having this truly epic game releasing. To date, Devil May Cry 4 has sold over 2 million copies since its launch earlier in the month and has become the fastest selling Devil May Cry game ever thanks to it being on PS3, Xbox 360 and PC.
What are your views on the matter, do you think they should do a spin off Devil May Cry game exclusively for the Wii? Or do you think this “hardcore gamers’ fan favorite” should stay on a “hardcore gamers’ consoles?”
