The Championship Gaming Series’ World Final match began today with a devastating victory for the Birmingham Salvos against their opponents the Rio Sinistro team. The two teams competed against each other in FIFA World Soccer, Project Gotham Racing, Counterstrike Source, and a Men and Women’s Dead or Alive one on one battle. The Birmingham Salvos achieved amazing victories over their opponents as they scored first place in all nearly all the contests they competed in.The Birmingham Salvos quickly established their dominance in the competition by achieving a score of 12-6 in Counterstrike Source, 6-3 in Project Gotham Racing, 3-0 in FIFA and 5-2 in the Dead or Alive Men’s one on one battle competition.

Rio Sinistro scored only one victory  with the Woman’s Dead or Alive match with a score of 5-4. The Birmingham Salvos, after achieving a final score of 30-16 in Birminghan’s favor, will proceed to the next match against the Signapore Sword on Tuesday, December 11th, as they continue their bid for the five hundred thousand dollar grand prize.
