LittleBigPlanet is a big deal everywhere it goes, and we are upon the release of the game in the UK, but it seems as though people who get the game might not have the chance to play online right away. Yesterday, for those lucky individuals who had the chance to get their hands on a copy of the game early, found multiple issues with the servers.

Due to those issues, Sony has pulled the servers and shut them down for now. All that creative swapping may just have to wait a little longer. Media Molecule confirmed yesterday that “No, we’re not losing our minds; the servers for LBP are down. They took them down about eight hours after they went live to avoid ’glitching issues’ some people were seeing that was affecting offline play. They tell us that the servers will be back online just as soon they can get their hands on whatever little SackGremlin is causing the problems in their servers."

LBP has already been delayed because of a controversial track list incorporated in the game. Now some little SackGremlins are stealing levels, and uploading faulty/unfinished levels, on top of that the servers are having trouble coping. SackGremlins + Bad Servers = Disappointed Fans.
