EA Mobile, has been spreading the word that it is planning to release a whole new batch of games for the iPhone in the coming months. First of the list, and most recent in the release list, is Spore: Origins which will be out later this month. Designed for use with the iPhone and iPod touch, Spore: Origins has been created to utilized the accelerometer included with these two devices to let player move their way in a variety of directions through an ooze filled world across 35 levels and in two different gameplay modes. You can also use the Creature Editor to make numerous alterations to your Spore in the areas of texture, shape, and body parts in order to change the offensive, defensive, and perception capabilities during your Spore’s natural evolution.

That’s not all that EA Mobile has in mind for iPhone owners, however, not by a long shot. EA Mobile also announced today that 9 other games, also being created for the iPhone and iPod touch, are also in development. There will be YAHTZEE Adventures, EA Mini Golf, Lemonade Tycoon, Mahjong, Monopoly, SimCity, Tiger Woods PGA TOUR 09, Need for Speed Undercover, and The Sims 3. That’s quite a lot of titles to look forward to in the future, but for now be ready to find Spores apopping all over your iPhone or iPod Touch.
