According to the San Diego chapter on the United States Marine Corps Reserve the Toys for Tots program will have a number of local companies and institutions participating in the annual Holiday Toy Drive this year. These companies include the Chargers, Wal-Mart, and Sony Online Entertainment. The Toys For Tots collection drives begin November the 23rd to December 16th

The Marine Corps Reserve’s goal this year is to collect  over 185,000 toys for 53,000 children in San Diego. The donated toys will be collected by members of the Marine Corps Reserve during the 22 days of the event which will culminate in the 18th Annual Chagers Toy Drive at the San Diego Chargers home game on December 16th.  For those of you living in the San Diego area who would like to donate new unopened toys for Toys For Tots there will a calender of events below that will list the locations and times of the Toy Drive and it’s other related events. Donations can also be made online at the Toys For Tots Foundation website at  www.toysfortots.org.
