Brutal Legend Will Not Be at E3
Posted by Brad Hilderbrand, 139 days ago Jul 9, 2008 20:29

I was really, really hoping to see Brutal Legend at this year’s E3. The latest game from Tim Schafer, the warped mind behind the woefully under-appreciated Psychonauts, is not quite far enough along for its E3 debut.

However, all is not lost, as Shafer is promising to discuss the game "soon after" E3, "as soon as the dust settles from the whole [Activision Blizzard] merger."

The game, featuring the voice of Jack Black as a heavy metal roadie sent back in time to use the power of metal to battle the forces of emo and grunge, has made quite a splash since its announcement. While we’re still waiting to feast our eyes on some actual gameplay, the screenshots and trailers released thus far lead us to believe things are coming along nicely. Also, a game featuring the voice talents of Ozzy Osbourne, Lemmy from Motorhead, and Ronny James Dio has to be awesome.
